Wauwatosa Youth Commission Storybook Walk

There is a new book hike in County Grounds Park through the month of May! The picture book you'll read along the path is the classic “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendack. Our youth volunteers selected this childhood favorite. Along the way families will also learn a little bit about the Wild Things of CGP too!

Bring some youth and check it out soon! The route this month is a little different and leads you to a different part of the woods as well (refer to the map in the pictures). Consider taking a photo while you are there and posting it in the comments below!!!

This book hike has been financially sponsored, assembled, and installed by the Wauwatosa Youth Commission, in coordination Friends of County Grounds Park - Milwaukee, WI and Milwaukee County Parks.
